Pilates is the optimal musculoskeletal performance technique. It strengthens; enhance flexibility and muscle endurance without risk of injury or bulking up.

The Focus of Pilates is breathing, core stability, pelvic & shoulder girdle stabilization, and restoring natural alignment of the body, resulting in a well-balanced fit and aligned body that moves with ease.

The Pilates classes offered at Karmel Pilates aim to create muscle balance and build strength from within, specifically to help develop: balance, strength and flexibility, bringing about optimal physical and mental well-being.

The precise controlled movements give you a trimmer body that is both suppler and stronger. Muscles are balanced so that the whole body moves with fluidity and is gently realigned and reshaped. .

Over 500 exercises are included in the Pilates repertoire. Exercises are performed on the floor in our Mat class or on four different machines: Reformer, Cadillac, Barrel and Chair in private or duo classes under the vigilant eye of a qualified teacher to ensure correct placement.
